Dr Yan Yee Phua (Osteopath)

BHealthSc/BAppSc (Osteo)
Member of Osteopathy Australia
English and Mandarin speaking practitioner

My name is Yan Yee and I graduated as an Osteopath from RMIT University. I have always been interested in healthcare and was drawn to osteopathy when I experienced the positive results of osteopathic treatments firsthand.

My approach to treatment is tailored to the client’s needs as I understand that every individual are different. I use a holistic approach that includes hands-on techniques, rehabilitation exercises and lifestyle advice to help clients return to the activities that they love. I strongly believe in the power of education and movement and will use a gentler or firmer approach in addition to dry needling and cupping when treating based on the issue at hand.

I have been working at Casey Demons for the past two seasons as a sports trainer and have developed a keen interest in sporting injuries. However, I also do enjoy treating a range of complaints including neck, back and knee pain.

When not at the clinic, I work as a sports trainer.
